Lodge Finder

Group Tickets are really simple. Put a deposit on a lodge. The tickets arrive in the mail. Bring them all (filled in and signed) to the event. Of course you've got to make some payments along the way, but that's pretty much all there is to it.

  • Each lodge has 2 dorm rooms that you'll want to balance gender numbers. Download the spec sheets from the list below to get floorplans and details about each lodge.
  • Leader and Student Capacities: We recommend a 1:10 ratio and develop lodge cost as such. At your discretion though, tickets may be used in your lodge as you have need. Additional adults can be housed at other locations on site for an additional fee.
  • Lodges have kitchens unless otherwise marked**. Check out our meal plans to make life easy.
  • Overflow lodging is available which can hold up to 12 students and 2 adults of one gender. Contact Gern at 574.834.2212 to add additional overflow spaces.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT LODGE PRICES

Fee Schedule

  • Non-Refundable Deposit of $500 to secure lodge.
  • March 15 • 25% of total lodge cost is due (the $500 deposit is part of the 25%)
  • May 15 • 50% of total lodge cost is due
  • 10 days Before The Event • The total balance, minus any scholarships potentially awarded, is due
    (June 16-Week 1; June 23-Week 2; June 30-Week 3)
  • August 1 • Final bills will be sent out
  • September 5 • Final balance due
  • See bottom of page for cancellation, transfer and other details

* The "as low as" column is the average price per ticket when you fill up the lodge. Ideally, you want to fill it as much as possible; The largest lodge @ 75% capacity becomes a $300 per student ticket average.

**Cardinal lodge require the purchase of a meal plan for each student/adult ($80 each) as it does not have an adequate kitchen space to prepare meals in.

Meal Plans

With the exception of Cardinal, Sunrise and Bob-o-link, all of our lodges have full kitchens capable of feeding the lodges capacity. You may opt to purchase a meal plan for your participants and eat in our dining hall if you would prefer.

Complete Meal Plan Package : $80 per person

  • Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner : Monday Morning through Friday Morning

Lunches Only : $33 per person

  • Hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, fries, chips, salad bar, etc. : Monday through Thursday

Dinners Only : $38 per person

  • Boneless wings, pasta, fried chicken dinner, mexican cuisine, etc. : Monday through Thursday

Lunches & Dinners : $65 per person

  • Monday through Thursday

• The $500 deposit is non-refundable but is transferable within That Thing events only.

• Lodge Upgrade Transfer

  • includes lodges of same and higher capacity
  • may be used to switch to a different week
  • fee: $50
  • available as space permits
  • can be done at any point prior to the event by calling 888.MAT.2818

• Lodge Downgrade Transfer Through April 15

  • includes lodges of smaller capacity
  • may be used to switch to a different week
  • fee: $50
  • available as space permits
  • only applicable through April 15 and can be done by calling 888.MAT.2818

• Lodge Downgrade Transfer After April 15

  • includes lodges of smaller capacity
  • may be used to switch to a different week
  • fee: 30% of difference between current and new lodge
  • available as space permits
  • applicable after April 15 and can be done by calling 888.MAT.2818

• Scholarships potentially awarded to lodge will show as a temporary deduction from balance due until student attendance at the event is verified

• A final bill will be provided in late August detailing any discrepancies with scholarship awards/attendance and provide a zero balance or an amount due

• Failure to Pay Penalty: A groups failure to pay within 30 days of the due date will result in removal from the billing plan for the subsequent year (full value, 100%, will be due at the point of reservation); the remaining balance is still due
